Yes, girls can now give NDA. Here is what you need to know about eligibility, age limit, attempts, and physical standards.
Equal Opportunity
In 2021, the Supreme Court ruled that women must be allowed to join the NDA. Since then, girls have been appearing for the NDA exam and joining the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force through this entry.
Same Age Limit & Attempts
The rules for girls are the same as boys. There is no separate age limit, no extra attempts, and no different criteria.

- ✓ Marital Status: Unmarried
- ✓ Education: 12th Pass / Appearing
How Many Times Can a Girl Give NDA?
There is no separate count. Girls can appear in every NDA exam as long as they are between 16.5 and 19.5 years old. For most students, this works out to 4–6 attempts starting from Class 12.
Physical Standards for Girls
Female candidates have to clear a medical exam during SSB. Here are the basic physical standards:

Fun Fact
Boys and girls undergo the same training at NDA. They study the same courses and follow the same syllabus during the 3-year program.
